Three steps. Then you are home.

Export, import, search.

  1. Export from the old app

Use that app's export to save your notes as CSV, Markdown or text files.

  2. Import into KeptNote

Choose File, then Import from Another App… Pick the files, or a whole folder.

  3. Find them in your library

Each one says where it came from, for example “Imported from Granola.” Search finds them like any other meeting.

The KeptNote library in the Deep: folders down the side, and the meetings inside one of them, imported notes among the rest.

What comes across, and what does not.

An export holds words, not sound. So the picture is simple.

Comes across

  • Titles
  • Dates
  • The note text the export contains

Stays behind

  • Audio
  • Transcripts

Imported meetings have no transcript, so their lines cannot link to a moment in one.

ImportedImported notes carry this label, so you always know.

If it exports a file, KeptNote can read it.

Use that app's export. CSV, Markdown and plain text files all work.

  • Granola
  • Otter
  • Fathom
  • Fireflies
  • and others

No bot. Your device. One price.

Your notes can leave too.

Notes are plain Markdown. There is no lock-in, in either direction.

  • Save any note as a Markdown file you can open anywhere.

  • Export the complete meeting package when you want it all.
